3rd Dimension Additive Manufacturing was founded in 2021 by Matt Anderson and Troy Flugaur in Augusta, GA. The idea was created by the two while working at the same company as Engineers. They noticed while working together, that they both had a great passion and skillset for design and 3D printing, which has a huge gap in both the manufacturing and engineering spaces. After helping change the viewpoint of 3D printing from a hobby to an industrial fabrication method that can produce machine ready, fiber reinforced parts, they realized they could expand and provide this service to so many others who could benefit from it. Their goal is to be able to help people and businesses turn their ideas into reality at a quicker pace and with more capability than ever before.

Matt grew up in the Denver metro area and graduated from the Northern Arizona University in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has always had a passion to help other people solve problems, big or small. This passion has pushed him to venture into entrepreneurship, where his creativity has no limit.

Troy grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from Michigan Technological University in 2019 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He currently resides in the Augusta area with his girlfriend and dog. Troy loves working on everything from mechanical CAD to instrumentation/control systems and is currently employed by a company in the consumer products industry.
